The Sentinel Bowie honors the legendary American Bowie tradition while bringing it firmly into the 21st century. The clip-point blade is ground from D2 semi-stainless tool steel, chosen for its exceptional wear resistance and the fine, toothy edge it holds through extended use. The prominent clip creates an aggressive tip geometry ideal for piercing work, while the flat primary grind delivers the slicing performance a Bowie demands. The false edge on the clip is sharpened to create an effective secondary cutting surface. Desert ironwood scales — one of the world's hardest and most beautiful natural handle materials — are bookmatched and pinned with brass loveless bolts for a presentation-worthy fit and finish. A large brass double guard protects the hand. The custom leather sheath is hand-tooled with a traditional frontier pattern.
